Just wanted to stir up some chatter. How bad do I need these? I use a good dot4 and I have an RSPEC so I run Brembo calipers and pads but what about the lines? I have never been to a track and have no interest in it.

 

You don't need them.

 

You need them badly.

 

Sometimes you need them.

 

OEM lines are perfectly fine for daily driven street vehicles.

OEMs were too short for my BBK, and summit had only braided in stock.

 

 

I don't see any use of steel brake line unless you use it as a track car. Oem line is was sufficient for your need.
