Default Spring clamps ??

Just wondeing how much those spring clamps will bring my accent down ? 1 inch ? And are they any good ?? it's written that we have to put 2 clamps on 1 spring. Which means that it'll cost me 36$ in all ! Is it any good ????

Thanks Dave

Don't do it, man. It's a bad idea for a whole slew of reasons, the main one being it will permanently disfigure your springs. Forcing them to condense that much farther on only a few coils for that extended a period of time will do bad things for the metal, and could possibly with time fatigue them enough to crack or break.

You're getting what you pay for with this setup. In the long run, it will do you much more good to put in the extra money and get real springs than just these cheap clamps.

I'm sure Lo&Show can give you a mind-numbing diatribe over all the dozens of reasons of why these aren't a good idea.
