I bought new after market brakes and theres is now surface rust on
them........how do I remove and
keep the rust off my rotors ?

install them and hit the brakes for about .01 seconds fing02.gif

After your first brake application, it will be gone.

I think he means they're on the car already & are starting to rust... Were they zinc plated before you put them on? If not, have them cleaned up & have zinc plating applied to them... It won't do anything for the disc itself but it'll prevent the rotor hat & grooves from building up any rust. Even just powdercoating the hat might solve your problem.

it's ok, if it's to wet rust can be made but after you hit the breaks your rotors will be again clean
