I love roll bars.. I put an autopower one in my fiat spider and I had to realign the doors.. they do a great job of stiffening up an open car.. not sure it would have such a big effect on the tib.. but I am sure it would help. Plus it would look VERY cool painted to match the body paint.

I just did a search and come up with nothing... You could go to a race shop and have one welded up though. No doubt the interior dimensions of our Tibs must be similar in size to some of the other sport coupes running around. Maybe the Teg or first gen eclipse?

Not sure where he went off too. I remember him moving to vegas or something then disappeared. I have support bars welded in on my car the shop did them when we built the rear suspension. We even removed the rear strut bar and took a piece of steel piping and bent to the same shape and bolted it the strut towers. We did this so we could weld the support bars on to it without problems.

Well see I just ordered the RRM rear Strut bar, I was trying to think of a way to kinda make it a part of the Roll bar, so I am going to suggest it to the shop making mine.
Hey it is @ cost to me so it is all good, they got pics of a GK with a Roll bar in it, the only thing I want to do is keep my back seats, and have the bar follow the contour of the sides of the seats.
Will have to see what is possible

Well.. why not skip the strut bar and just have the rear seats of the bar bolt to the tops of the rear struts? That would leave you clearance on the seat and really stiffen the rear of the car. more than a stress bar ever could.
