Talking about captive rotors im assuming. That or u can swap to non captive. which has been covered many times. I just drilled out the back of my rims to fit the bolts.

lol here we go again...
those are captive rotors which are only in the front. you cannot sand those down because they hold the hub together.
in the read you don't have to worry about because there are 2 screws that can be unscrewed. they are not important.
the best way to do this is go to a shop, have them order two used 2000 wheel hubs for $200 each. it will probably cost you $500 to get the rotor hubs swapped with labor but you won't have to worry about the whole thing falling apart when your rims are on.
either that or get rims that fit over the bolts. they're the hardest to find.
good luck.

With a 2001 Tiburon, you have two small screws that hold the rotor on when assembling the brakes. You can remove them without any issues. Chances are the brake discs are rusted to the hub anyway. Once you bolt on your new rims, there is NO chance of the brake disc moving seperatly from the hub or the rim due to the lugs that go through it.
As for the question of elantra hubs fitting the tiburon, I do not know. You might have to do some parts numbers referencing.

QUOTE REMOVED
I'm having a HELL of a time removing those two said screws.... they're RUSTED right into the hubs, and the metal is extremely soft.. so I stripped the tops in no time.... I did manage to remove 1 set... off a pretty much brand new hub I replaced last year (wheel bearing problem) . The other 3 sets refuse to budge. Spent 4 hours so far just messing with the screws.
So, anyone planning to put aftermarket wheels on.. if you have a 2001 tib, take those @$# screws out BEFORe they rust to the hub...
