Re: FX model vs SE model
Bar's not for sale,.. yet.
Was considering getting rid of it (the Car) a few months back, but right now, financially, I can't afford it,... well I can, but I'm looking at a house and all sorts of other crap in life,... one of which is getting older, need a bigger vehicle. Also auto, so the GF can drive it. Was considering the Santa Fe, like what Canadianshark did. But I drove the new Tucson today and I LIKE IT. But I probably won't get the 1st year production. I'll wait to see what problems and TSB's arise before I get one.
Also, it's got lotsa wind and road / tire noise. Even though it's got car tires and not SUV tires like the Santa Fe. Good pickup on the 2.7L Delta though.
But yeah that pic is from Todd's old 98 Tib SE, VERY NICELY DONE UP!!!
All the NA mods you can get, he got. But he sold his car, got married, and you know the rest,....
I got lots of his "old" parts, which are always very minty. I got his handmedowns, but they are like brand new. The car had like 36000km's when he sold it.
I would of picked it up if my car was in an accident, got written off or I didn't have a tib. But it went to some kid....
Oh well. It was basically back to stock engine mods when he sold it, it was just the painted dash, bodykit and that's about it, oh and CAI.
Here's a pic of what it was:

Re: For Free: Audiobahn Decals
Thanks Kay, I've been wanting to get one but I just havn't gotten around to it. I was wondering if the rear struts "pressed" against the rear seat (As I may have to sell my car one day and I want to eliminate any unecessary wear and tear) but I know it dosn't. Thanks again

Re: My alternator died!
I know I haven't noticed any wear on the rear seats, but I did have to cut some of the carpet on top of the strut tower to let the braces come through, you probably have to do the same on any bar you get.

Did you guys have to cut that carboard/fabric stuff? Is the install hard, or do I have to see it in real life.
Holy dead post smile.gif
But I'm glad you searched! laugh.gif
Anyway, yeah you have to cut little slits outta the rear cardboard / fabric stuff. very minor
THere was a DIY on Speedstate, before, but it looks like they took it off
But you can see where it's cut out in the pix above
