Default question about 17" rims/tires

i found an auction for four racing hart t6 rims, with 2 bf goodrich scorchers and 2 yokohama paradas. the tire size is 205-40-17. since i am in no way a rim/tire expert, could someone tell me if these would fit on my 2001 tib? any other info would be greatly appreciated. the guy says that the package retails for $2300. thanks. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

They fit perfect. Same size I got on mine. Honestly though 17's are a little small for the Tibs but they still look sweet. And also get rid of the Scorchers if you get a chance. Worst tire in the world. Had em and man were they tight. Couldn't stand them. Hope I helped. Later!!

Those will fit, and I would put the Parada's on the front, not the scorchers.

BTW...these guys are selling those wheels, complete with Pirelli tires in 18" for $1300 NEW!!! So I doubt that price you were quote was accurate...

No, 'Scorchers' are the tires with the colored stripes in the tread of the tire.

BFG thought ricers would love them, and thought they would sell. I have yet to see them, even on a totally riced out car...

Random..I had scorchers on my Snivic. They were ok looking if you had a good scheme going. Like my car was all black and yellow so I got yellow scorchers. I can't stand if peeps buy them with nothing else that color on there car. That is ricey. But they are crap tires. They were so stiff you felt every bump in the world. Other than that they are very ricey.
