I used a site to match the sizes and it came out to about 1% difference between the 2 sizes. 205/50/16 is 1% smaller than 195/60/15. Basically at 75mph your speedo will still be correct. Also Tirerack recommends that size for 16" rims on our vehicles.

The only thing I would have changed would be the Nittos! They suck at wet driving! I have an automatic and on a slight incline from a dead stop with about 25% throttle they will easily spin and keep spinning unless you back down to about 5% throttle. Now on dry roads they are awesome. I tried to get Kumho, but Discount Tire Diret was out and wouldn't get any in for 2-3 weeks.

The Rage Vigors use a 40 Offset and 4x114.3 bolt pattern.

Hope this helps!

Your rims, having a 40mm offset, compared to my 42, means that your rims will be 2mm farther out than mine. That's like a 16th of an inch, hardly worth making a fuss over.
I used a similar site to determine what setup would be the same diameter. Like you said, it was just a fraction of an inch off the stock dimension.
What about wheel spacers? No body said anything about them? Good or bad idea?

trust me, 2mm makes a lot of difference when you look at the car.
2mm less from 40mm make your tire rub against the fender when lowered. 2mm more from 42mm is about the max you can get if you want like 17" wheels.

I don't know about the wheel spacers. The general consensus has been against them especially if they are plastic. I'd try and stay away from them. I don't know if I'd want a thin piece of plastic between my rims and car. smile.gif
