Default possible group buy on rotors...

Saw a group buy over at GBC from RaceConcepts for c-d&s rotors; they said we could set up a separate buy for 2Gen Tibs. Anyone ever deal with these guys?

Here's excerpts from my e-mails:

ME: Just viewed your group buy for rotors at GBC...are the rotors you have for 97-01 (captive) or non-captive(00-01)?...what parts are available from you for 00-01 Tibs (f/r rotors, f/r pads, s/s lines)?

RC: I can get rotors and pads for it...$210.00 for all 4 rotors, $75.00 for pads...

ME: $210 for four cross-drilled and slotted rotors, and only $75 more for all the pads?...curious as to which blanks they'd be machined from.

RC: The rotors are Bradi, the pads are PBR metal master pads...we can do a groupbuy...let me know...

Any takers? Let me know.

I'd be weary of getting "machined" rotors (which he states in the group buy these are). When rotors are "machined" slotted or drilled it can weaken the rotor and cause it to crack.

What you should look for instead is a rotor that is manufacturered drilled/slotted (ie: Brembo, KVR, EBC, etc).
