I thought that happened to me once, then I realized I was parked on un-even ground. That was an easy fix, trust!

when you say one side is siting lower than the other. Do you mean the WHOLE SIDE of the car, or just the front or just the rear?

Did you reconnect the rear swaybar when you re-installed the rear struts?

Why do you need an impact gun? Just get a 3' long breaker bar to get the nuts off the top of the strut towers. Take them off while the car is on the ground, before you jack it up. With the weight of the car on the struts, you can get that nut off. If you try it with the car in the air, the strut housing will turn.

okay the noise i figured out...my bolt was loose on the sway bar......just the driver side rear is sitting lower then the passenger side rear....i might have switched the way i put the top mounting assembly on....there is a spacer and then the nut...i might have put the spacer in the wrong spot!!.....

random.....i did that...on the top mounts because i read that before....the two bottom bolts i couldnt get off!!! but i think i have a solution.....we shall see.

for the 2 bottom bolts. Put a 17mm wrench on the nut, and brace the wrench against the brake rotor. Then use your breaker bar to remove those bottom bolts.

You can spray them with some wd40 or penetrating lubricate, and let it soak in for 10 minutes. You should be able to get them off then.
