Ye, they are cheap all around tire. They do everything ok I guess, but nothing spectacular.

they're actually summer tires but my sister has had them on duringt he winter and it's exceptionally good in the winter from the jagged treads. it'll get you around in the snow, but keep a cellphone handy.

i drove on ecsta supras without any problems. they're actually really really good in the rain when they lift and kick up the water out from the center.

cheap good tires for the money. i say, if a nail will puncture my $150 Kumho MX, than it might as well puncture my $85 Ecsta supra.

HKC, there are ecsta all season tires as well... and they still suck no matter which ones they are... and you overpaid for your MXs...

They have a treadwear of 420 so it seems like they would be slippery. I have falcon azenis they have a treadwear of 200 which ive never had problems with them being not grippy enough on the road. my old coppers tw 280 would squell and spin and stuff in emergencys. I love the azenis theyre great on the road but I would like sticker on the track

Yea I have Kumho ecsta ASX's and I think they do their job very nicely for the price paid. Not the grippiest tires in the world, you'll get some tire squeal and traction loss if you like hard cornering...but at the same time they handle pretty well. Never had a problem in the snow or rain with these tires and I live in an area that has some severe storms.
