Wear.....ehhh.....I liked the tires but hated the wear on them. Maybe they will last for you. I got them at christmas and they are well on their way to being bald. Performance is good though, wet performance is really awesome, hard to break loose in the rain sometimes.

Why did you pick that size? Winter tires?

yea i wish i would have just done a lil more research on em. i hope they would last till next winter.

i picked that size because the falcon rep said it would be good for prefomance but still be a GOOD winter tire also. because i'm not so worried about how they will work in wet/snowy conditions but i know that even though i have another car i will still drive the tib in the winter so i need something that will work then too.

i havent had a chance to get on the highway and do some testin with em. i'll prolly try to get to the highway before i go to bar and see if i cant find some good twists, i'll keep it updated with how i like em.

I've had Falken ZE-512 tyres (215/40-17) for about 3 months now. The grip is really good, especially in the wet. So far the wear hasn't been excessive. They're wearing evenly too, which my old Potenzas didn't do, even on just a 1.4" drop.

Maybe I'm imagining things too but the tread on your 15s looks deeper than on these 17s.

i dont know about the tread but i know that 15 will spin faster then 17's which is one reason im not in a hurry to get rims.

just went on a nice lil ride and the grip on these tires is awsome. at 85+ i just feel like im stuck to the ground in the turn. i noticed that i didnt need anywhere near as aggressive lines on the corners, even at 100+ i barely needed any ajusting going into fairly sharp curves.

as of now i'm very happy with these tires, and could prolly recommend. we will have to wait to see on the weat though.

just had a good week straight of rain and it griped just like dry, even in a corner i had to work to loose grip but when they did break free, just a blip of gass to get full traction and keep the slide going.
