New tires
Just picked me up some 205/40R-17 Kumho Ecsta ASX XL from the rack. I was looking for a good all season tire. What do you guys think of this tire?

Sweet. I need new tires really bad. I hope these help the road noise and handling. Now i just have to get them mounted and ballanced. smile.gif

They should be good tires. I just can't stomach another set of UHPAS tires. When I've really pushed them in the past they are much easier to destroy than a Max performance summer tire.

i was comparing the kumhos and pirellis when i was tire shopping. it really depends on how much you are willing to spend.

you should've gotten the bfg G-force sport tires,
Treadwear:300
Traction:AA
Temperture:A
these are a better bang for your buck, stay away from the ecsta asx's, they only lasted 19K miles on my Car, steering response was a lil soft, adn wet traction was a little bit sketchy..
the G-force sport is better in everyway, it has a more durable Carcass, better ply rating, has the G-sidewall insert's which result's in tremendous cornering force , and these tires stand up to abuse really well, despite it having only a 300 treadwear rating, i drove up and down some mountain roads where tight hairpin turn's are common,
these tires act like stiff sway bars and racing slicks, they stick like mad and steer sharply, even after 2 hours of driving like hell, my tires were hot but my tire shoulder blocks still had ton's of meat on them,
it's almost impossible to make these tires squeal

the g-forces are at the top of their category on tire rack. i was looking at those before i brought my pirelli's. i believe they were a little pricey though
