New Rotor Question
Hey!
My pads are in need of a change so I've taken the opportunity to get some slotted rotors too so I picked up some new RDA slotted front rotors this morning & will hopefully be fitting them with new pads this weekend. The "In-laws" are over from the UK so I'll see if I have time in between showing them around Sydney.
Here are some pics of the left one...

Anyway, on the instructions that came with them it says to clean the anti-corrosive oil off of the rotors "using a suitable cleaning solution" before installing them.
My question is what cleaner is suitable? I've wiped one of the rotors down with some methylated spirits but then thought it best to stop before I potentially ruined them or something.
Can anyone help?

i usually use brake cleaner (spray can) but you could use paint thinner, but i guess your methylated spirits would also work fine.. you just basicly want to remove all the oil from the rotors surfaces
