I really like both brands on my car right now, both hold great, unless you overdo it (I guess it's good, I can make them break loose if I want to).
Cooper Zeon ZPT's and Nexxen somethings.

majik, thanks I'll check those tires out and I actually only go to discount tires for tires. Although I think the shop I go to fix up my family's cars might price match and then beat them so I'll have to check on that.
Bull, RED Z I'll take a look at those and see what everyone has to say about them.
Rix, those KDWs look nice too bad they don't come in 15" tires.
Optimo, I saw that last night as I was looking at the Sdrives. Discount Tires must get a kick back on selling those. If I remember right they are the only shop that sells those accordint to Yokohama's site.
StrikeEagle, I have some Generals on my mom's car and the are very smooth. I'll have to consider them too.
TibbyTib, I'm going to ask the tire shop about that.
Thanks everyone!

Strike, dude, after 60,000miles I'd expect a performance tire to be needing replacement. How many miles were you expecting out of them? The ones on my mom's sedan which aren't performance tires and not supposed to be driven aggressively aren't expected to last longer than 80,000miles.

Sorry, mistype, was more like 40k miles. I was hoping to last around 60 or so. They started losing significant tread after 20-30k though, I was pretty disappointed.
I've had
Firestone affintys (crap)
Pirelli snow tires
Kumho ecsta 711s
Bfg g-force sports
Theres one other tire that I had on my mustang but I can't remember.
I want to say I have roughly 15k on them and the tread is still good. Let me grab the pic of them on my car.

Also, with a treadwear rating of like 280, how long did you expect them to last? Going by just the tread rating they should only last 30k miles which is pretty good for a ultra high performance summer tire. You getting 40k out of them is great
