The first 5 wheels mentioned on that site will fit on a Tib but they're only 5.5inches wide.

Would you want all four steel 14" rims? I have a complete set.

I just need 2 Java. But after talking to people I don't know if I want a 5.5" wide wheel for 225 tires.

How much do you want for 2 man?

Dima, how am I gonna get those wheels here?

Yeah, probably shipping will make it worthless.

Maybe you can use for drag racing for rear wheels more narrow tires (like 195 or 185) to reduce rolling resistance.
Is it safe to run 225 front and 185 rear (only for drag)?

Good idea, but I'm not going all the way out man. My car is not that fast to show up at the track with small rear tires and huge slicks up front.

OP, you may not even need 225s if your going to use slicks. 205s will probably do just fine... you really don't need to go that big on the tires since your definately not going to overpower them. Never launched a FWD car with slicks, but the difference in RPM from street radials to drag radials is pretty large... I've got a pair of 305s for the Corvette and 305 in regular radials, and there is a huge difference on the launch.

Well, I found a very nice tire that's relatively cheap, and I could drive on those tires to the track as well.

I just calculated everything and it turns out to be around $600 for everything.... hmmm, maybe I'll have to reconsider this idea.

For 225s the recommended Rim width is 6 - 7.5"

My tibby has 14" Enkei Wheels and they're 14lbs each.
