Need Some Opinions For Racing Wheels.

I plan on getting 14" steel wheels from tibby and putting 225/45 drag radials on them.
How much does each wheel weigh?
Anyone willing to sell me theirs for cheap?

even thought you are going down to a 14" rim steel wheels weight a lot!..you could go with stock tibby rims (they weight less than 14" steel wheels)...also, lightweight rims in a 14" diameter do not cost as much as you'd think..just search a lil youll find a good deal..besides steel wheels bend real easy.

Get some of those drag rims that are like cast aluminum or whatever, they're cheap and lightweight. I don't even think they comlarger than 15". Try Jegs or some sort of Drag Race King.

A stock 14" Tib wheel is a narrow 5.5 inches wide. A stock 15" wheel is a little wider at 6.0 inches, I don't know if that will effect your decision OP.
Yes, the Accent GT does come with 14" wheels Mad.

How much can they weigh? More than 15lbs? Which stock tibby wheels are you talking about? 15s alloys are 18-19lbs each!!

I actually looked all over ebay, but couldn't find them with 4X4.5! Every wheel has 5 bolt pattern on ebay!
Thanks for recommending Jegs, I found our lug pattern, but wheels are pretty pricey, $135-140 each.

OP, I think 225 may be a bit too wide for a 5.5" wheel. I think the tires that are supposed to go with it are 185, big difference from 225. I've never tried or heard of anyone trying to fit 225's on a 5.5 wide tire so I'm not too sure on this.
As far as Volk TE37's, they are very expensive and will set you back over a grand to get a set brand new. Good luck with your decision.
