Need New Disc Brakes
#11
ok.. if you look at the two smaller holes.. you can thread a bolt into those and use them to pry the rotor off of the hub. Chances are, when this was done to your old brakes, they were so tightly on, the face of the "hat" (The part that broke away) simply cracked and broke off. Unfortunatly, it is normal. I had one do that myself.

So does this happen with all brands, or does the inferior korean stock quality comes into mind here.
Ok so I gonna swap all 4 discs. Are the back rotors harder to replace then the front? due to the handbrake and all.

Oh well, it's gonna cost me a bunchload of bucks anyways, so I better do it right cool.gif
My motto: everytime sh*t breaks, replace it with better sh*t
no use replacing it with the same stock crap that breaks again 2 years later. Not that other brands aren't having problems but the quality of the 'cheap' Hyundai is sometimes noticable. Just my 2 cents.
Then again maybe the fact I love the brand and the cars, design and the cheap image

Make sure you sent the e-mail to the right address.
rotorpros@yahoo.com
He usually responds within a few hours, even on weekends. With over 30 orders I've given him, he always ships the rotors to you within 5-7 days.
Tell him " majikTib " sent you fing02.gif
Also, WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
make sure you give him all shipping information so he can get a price to you as soon as possible.

Yeah my bad
I had the whole yahoo.com domain blocked on my mail list mad.gif
Damn that guy emails fast laugh.gif
I'm still wondering, does anyone have a front rotor for a rd2, I want to know what the measurments are of the outside of the hub, mine was 154mm
I don't wanna spend 300 - 400 bucks on rotors and then not having them fit after 2 weeks waiting.
That would plainly suck

*bump*
Called my shop today, 3th set of brakes came in and didn't fit either
The disc is ok, the holes are aligned, only the center hub is a couple of mm too small.
I need to know what the length of the center hub of the disc is (well not the length but from the bottom side straight up to the upper side), my old disc is 154mm
all the new ones are smaller.
this sucks

I can only hope they have the correct information. I know the two door accent is often called a coupe' over in europe also.. while they now use the same bolt pattern as the Tib, I think their brakes are a bit smaller.
