I was wondering is it normal, that my rear is wearing a lot faster then my front......?
Since it is front wheel drive shouldn't my front brakes wear out faster?
My rear pads are started to squeal more and more each day and i check the pads and it don't have much life to it left.

Drums have shoes, FYI.
I have gone 146k miles and many autocrosses and my rear shoes are only now wearing out but I've gone through 3 sets of front pads.
I am thinking that faith might be right about you driving with the parking brake on at some point. Either that or something got out of adjustment and unnecessarily wore off friction material.
