For the life of me I can't find the post that described this, but I'm sure Jeremy will find it in 2 seconds. laugh.gif
I have one of the older rear strut tower braces for the rd2, but it sticks forward just enough to keep the back seats from locking in place. Does anyone remember what had to be modified to have the rear strut tower brace installed and still be able to lock the rear seats in place?

I just slam the seats downs and I'm good. Have you tried loosening the tower bolts, locking the seats in the upright position and then tightening them? Other than that, you could take a drill and slot the holes slightly. Make sure you secure the bracket in a vice if you do this.

Actually, it's really easy. Just pull the assembly apart, and slot out the mounting holes about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch to allow the strut brace to sit a tiny bit further back. You can do it with a dremel in about 4 minutes per hole.
I ended out getting a better strut bar, and now have no problems, and a better looking bar.
