So, I assume you're looking for A/S tires and want to spend around $400 or less for them?
Yup. Dry is more important for me of course, but I DO love to push it in the rain. Price, meh, I'd like to spend less than $125 per tire, but I do always like a good price. I push my car pretty hard in corners, so I do go through tires pretty quick. Hell, I'm at 96K miles and bought it at 17K, and am on like my 4th set of tires? LOL
Any advice is welcome.

Redz, my favorite tires that I've had were these:

but you want an asymmetrical tire so that won't do. I've also enjoyed my ze-912s throughly, both in my stock size and my 225/50/15s that I had. Gripped good and has good treadwear.

I also have to highly recommend the kumho asx's. Good all season tire and grippy as well.

Those looks suspicously like general UHPs.

I'll check those all out. I want directionals on the ground but need a dual direction tread for my full sized spare. Thanks!

^^Just changed out my Falken ze-912's for the Kumho Ecasta ASX. Both gripped pretty nice. The ze-912s had decent tread life. Not sure about the ASX's as I just put them on early December but so far I really like them.
Noted. I did notice that my Falken 512's did VERY well in the rain and snow when I had them.

Grab the NeoGens Jer. Amazing grip AND amazing wear. There are reviews of these tires going 60,0000+!!! But with you driving, I'd probably say a solid 2,000!!!! J/K!!!
Seriously though, the Nittos are crazy grippy and I have yet to see wear on mine.

LOL, that's almost the truth. Okay, I'll probably go with them. You've driven with me enough, and amazingly enough can keep up since the turbo (LOL), so you know how I drive as well as I do.
Keep em coming folks, probably pick them up next week or in 2 more.

Well, $2 more than what you wanna spend, but I recommend the BFG KDW NT's:

I run Nitto Invo's, but they don't come in a 16".

i had 512's and they were awsome i had 912's and took them back 3 days later, they were the worse tires i've ever had. they wouldnt grip in rain and had worse then stock grip in the dry.
X2 on the KDWs. I have them on my car right now. i have 225/55/17. They grip amazing. Better than any tire i have had on my car. Wear seems to be good on them so far but cant say for sure because my tib doesnt get driven to often. They are expensive but a great performing tire. In wet they do good but in snow they suck.

Uhm, the white fluffy precip that lots of areas get in the winter?
Let me guess, another person that thinks we don't get snow in New Mexico?
That's my house in ONE DAY in 2006. Closed the city for 4 days.

Yup. It was the standard "We are getting 2 to 3 inches of snow tomorrow", that turned into 2 feet in 24 hours. Only about 16 inches stuck as you can see, but since they didn't get the trucks out to clean the roads and such in time, so the city ground to a halt.
Twas great.
I had Nitto 450's on the Traffiks I used to have, and they were good tires, just worn down good when I bought them used already, but I have never had an issue with Nittos. Most of the reviews on the NeoGen's are import drivers and aggressive drivers, so I think they'll do great.
Thanks everyone.
