Hey Everyone

I am in the market for purchasing lowering springs for only the front end of my car. For some reason my springs have dampened more than original probably from all the potholes from all this rain in San Diego. So when I go to make a turn they scrape my tires in the wheel well. I just got new Kumho's so I don't want to mess them up so right now I am riding with stock springs on the front and a 1.8" drop in the back. The back ones are fine so I just want to replace my front.

Does anyone know where I can buy just two front rather than in a set? Everyplace I have checked only sells them in a pack of 4.

i would have to say you are s.o.l. on this one buddy i have yet to see springs sold by just fron and rear, but good luck mang.

You sure its your springs? It could be your shocks but if you want springs, Eibach are nice. if its shocks, i heard kyb agx are good.

Sounds like shocks to me... if you kept the stock shocks they are going to blow with a 1.8" drop eventually. Springs themselves rarely run into problems, especially since you just changed to a lowering spring not too long ago.

All the lowering springs that I know of come in sets of 4. Just buy a set of Eibachs and replace all your springs.

Better to buy a matched set anyway. Plus you know everything is new and tight. And on that note (nice segue, no?) How is the rest of your suspension? If you have tired old bushings that are getting sloppy, that can cause rubbing as well. Blown shocks would do it too.

So do you guys recommend I put in new shocks and then install my old lowering springs back?

If you could afford new aftermarket struts and springs, then do both. There's a GB on Eibach struts, swaybars and springs going on, check it out.

I agree with Hamhead and Mad, springs rarely run into problems, AND, if your's did, buddy you DO want to change rears as well because they are probably not good quality. If the potholes were to harm suspension parts, they would hurt many other parts before they can harm a spring.
I bet it's shocks or bushings.
