Anybody out there with 17's lowered your car by 1.75? Is it possible and are there any problems with it?

im pretty sure it'll be fine. Most people here are runnign 17's with eibach's 1.5inch drop.
Oh yea, and it also depends on what size tires you planning to run.

Yes it will be fine with that drop and 17's, just as max tire size: 215/40R17's

Actually I just installed Eibach and have 215/40/17 and if I take a sharp right turn into a up-hill I will rub a tiny bit against my fender. With intrax when I made right turn into a bumpy/uphill road I scrubbed rubber off the tire against my fender.

KYB-GR2. I mean, it only happens when I make a right turn and it's going up the hill, and speed is pretty high.

If I make a sharp right turn on a flat surface, nothing happens.

Hrmmm,... yeah, probably the hill. But still
HOTROD has that and he's doesn't have any problems that I know of. But FULL Eibach Pro Kit.
No mix and match on springs and struts

I ran Eibachs with 17's wheels running 205/40's and they almost never rubbed. I'd go with that combo as it's low but not that low if you're worred about rubbing.

i have both, 17" and eibach, and with 205/40, you will have no problem at all, with 215/40, you maybe have some problem but nothing too bad.
