Looking for rims
#1
Hey guys I'm interested in buying some rims for my Tib but I don't have the faintest idea about wheels. I know that I want a 16" wheel and I want it to be flat black. I like a 5 or 6 spoke wheel that is pretty deep??? Does anyone have any sugestions?

Look at the ROTA Slipstreams. I'm considering them myself as they weight 13lbs for 16inch. This is remarkable as they are not forged but cast and are supposedly durable as they are certified by someone for racing. they cost anwhere between $500 dollars on up depending on the site you look at. Do some searches and you'll find some sites. The only reason I haven't bought this wheel because It's too plain looking in my opinion but it is 5 star so it would be good if you're looking for that "sleeper" or "stock" look. The only 16's you'll find lighter than these for our cars are the very expensive Volk TE-37's. Good luck..

I really like those Enkei OR52 Anthracite wheels, but I'm not sure about getting painted wheels? I don't want to get them and then have the paint start to chip off from rocks and stuff. What should I do????? lol

I have painted wheels, I have only had them for 2 months now, they are still mint. As for rocks hitting them, I wouldn't worry too much about that. Even if you drive on gravel roads, your wheels have the tires to protect them. Just keep them clean and keep the brake dust off them, that is what will destroy the finish on your rims.
