I've been talking with the guys at KYB and they sent me this in an email, thought some of you guys might find this interesting:

#3 = 107.5 (7.5% firmer than Factory) #7 = 197.5 (97.5 firmer than Factory)

Well I've got the gr2's and noticed a difference. Of course, I also put on eibachs at the same time so I can't be positive about how much the kyb's did as opposed to the eibachs. However, the gr-2s can be found for really good prices too!

not to mention you were replacing old and worn struts.
even a OEM hyundai strut would have felt great if it was brdan new.
i think our stock struts might have actually been tokiko's or kyb's from the factory, i thought my stockers had one of the two stamped on the housing. (might have been my probe though)

^^^thats why on KYB's website they dont even list them as a preformance upgrade. check this out http://www.kybsport.com/home.html
no mention of gr2's at all only agx/ultraSR/and monomax.
if your going to do preformance upgrades then make sure the parts your buying are actually preformance parts and not OEM replacements.

I only bought them as a oem replacment when I bent one of my stock struts. I didn't expect much "performance" out of them for the price (which was great!)and considering they are kyb's bottom of the line model. I happened to come across a sweet deal on some eibachs about the same time so I figured I might as well change em both at the same time.
What kind of info do you want on the eibachs zoned? Specs or opinions?
