I am working out a deal with this guy for four OEM rims with Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's on them. He is giving me a price of $225. I was wondering if anyone knows if that is a good deal or not. Thx, Garrett

I guess it would all depend on how much tread is on the tires, and how bad you want the rims. You can usually find stocker rims for sale pretty cheap (used) but the cost a fortune if you ask the dealer for new ones.

you can do a search on www.tirerack.com for prices on tires and from there you can figure out what the rims might be worth to you.

heh.. three years ago I went looking for used stock rims at the junkyard.. only place that had them was in Ma and they wanted 75 a piece for them... so instead of spending too much money for used rims.. I bought new...

Presuming the tires are new (or less than 10k miles), I'd say it's a fair deal. Not great, but your not getting ripped off either. Make sure you get them balanced before using them.

Don't worry about posting on this topic anymore. Got bad news. This morning, I totaled my tibby driving in the rain. I was pretty much in the wrong place at the wrong time, and spun around and around and around and hit a telephone pole. I'm ok. But unfortunately, the tib is not. Thank you for your posts though. Bye, Garrett

Wow, you got anything to sell off of it?

Glad you are okay though.

Hey, I do have a couple of parts that I was planning on getting installed until after my wreck. I have a cat-back MBRP exhaust system and a INJEN CAI for a 2001. I have HDK 4-1 headers ordered, but I am currently trying to cancel that order. I will sell the exhaust for 500(not including S/H) and the CAI for 200(not including S/H). PM me if you are interested. They are not used, but the boxes have been opened. Got the exhaust for 520(not including S/H) and the CAI for 225(not including S/H). And if you bought them off of me, you would have to pay for shipping but at least you don't have to wait forever for a site to send it to you. Thx for being concerned. I am O.K. Seeya, Garrett
