I personally think they handle better. of course michelin's got the name behind them, but even if the michelin's were cheaper, I still think the kumho's handle better in wet and dry than the XGT's. i've heard that they suck on ice, but then again, I'm in GA smile.gif

I have a set of the Ecsta 712's they handel great in the rain. I live in Indiana and in May and June it likes to rain alot so I have drove in the rain plenty of times with them. Great grip and no hydro planing.

i have kumho's stock on my sephia and i like them. they are a lil sqeaky when cold but when they are warmed up they are nice and hold very well on corners and such. in the rain, they are one of the best tires i've ridden on--very stable. i don't know if its the tires or the car itself but i get a very good road feel--comparable to more expensive cars like mazda and bmw.

I love my Kumho Ecasta 712s from April to October here in Wisconsin; however, they don't handle well in the cold or snow/ice. I put 75k on the stock tires and even after that many miles they still handled much better on snow than the Ecasta. Great in the rain though!
