I need to buy a set of tires. I want to stay with 205/50 R16.

I can buy here:
Nokian Z

Michelin PILOT SPORT

GT Radial Champiro 50

Dunlop SP Sport 9000

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

all tires are about the same price - 100-120 bucks for 1 tire.
What should I get?

You might wanna check out the ones I just got, the Cooper Zeon ZPT's, they seem to be very nice and are MUCH cheaper.

There are not many Cooper tires here. And 205/50R16 is a rare size here.

The most common tires in this size are Dunlop SP9000, Goodyear Eagle F1, Nokian Z.

I heard SP9000 is good.

why are you running 205/50/16 anyway? 205/45/16 is closer to stock.

I have 205/50 R16 now and have no problems with it. I would like to choose 45 profile but it's too dangerous here, roads are crap and it's easier to damage the rim.

I can't find Micheline Pilot Sport now.

I have 2 options:
- Good Year Eagle F1
- Dunlop SP 9000

I've heard that Eagle F1 is very good in rain, but I've also heard that it's soft and do not last long and when it has less than 50% thread it loose handling and traction (aquaplaning) in the rain.

I haven't heard much about SP 9000.

don't know what king of tire you really want but i like alot 1010tires.com just to do search and see price just tu have an idea .... don't know if you got Fuzion over there but they are pretty Nice the Hankook k105 seems to be nice to Fuzion and Kuhmo are the "cheapest" but they are pretty good tire wink1.gif

http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?tirebran...ntus+Prime+K105 like this one it's new from this year smile.gif

for milage just chek the Treadwear rating lower is the number faster they will wear out... fon rain just look at the letter like AA traction and A temprature the traction letter mean how good are the tire on the rain so AA then a down to C i think tongue.gif

http://www.1010tire.com/utqg.html better explication smile.gif
