Default Increasing downforce on the front

Other than sticking a spoiler on the hood, how does one go about increasing downforce on the front end to get increased traction?

How much HP do you have that you have to worry about front end down force? If your losing traction while accelerating look at getting some better tires. Good tires make a HUGE difference.

a fat chick permanently affixed to the hood would also give you some great down force

If you need traction, better tires are the best way to get it. Nothing you add aero wise is going to help much till you get over 75-100 mph, and by then you won't have traction problems....

If you're talking about Autocross, you're not going fast enough to generate aero-force. Get better tires, and adjust your suspension properly.

I have just bolt ons. I do have pretty good tires. BF Goodrich G-Force tires. 205/40/17 in size. I have alot of wheel hop and spin when I launch so I thought maybe adding some more downforce on the front might help a little.

You can't get downforce while not moving (unless you just want to add more weight to the front).

Wheel hop can be helped with stiffer springs and better struts, also poly front and rear engine roll stops.

Move all weight forward. Don't do the battery to trunk relocation. Even moving your seat forward helps although minuscule. LSD?
