Default Re: My New SAFCII Mount (56k LOL!!!!)

Ok I found this website while looking for hubcentric rings.
I will be purchasing both hubcentric rings and spline drive lug nuts for my car in the next week or two.
I will post opinions on quality of both later.

But the reason I am posting this is, because if you go to the hubcentric rings section you can actually put in your model car and what type of wheels you have and it will tell you what size hub centric rings you need.
It also does the same for lug nuts.
So, without further ado,

Just for wheels

cool.. I have the spline drive... well.. I lost one and the lock nut on one wheel due to somebody not tightening them properly during the car's last safety inspection... what is scary, I think I drove 500 miles with only two lugs on one front wheel

No sorry, not from that site, I got them when I got my wheels from this "wheel and tire" shop from where I live.

I have lugs exactly like but are made from a different company. You don't have to worry about having a locking lug nut as they give you a special socket to remove them. They can only be removed with that socket

and unfortunatly, unless you are using the locking lugs that porsche used to use.. ANY locking lug can be removed with a good pair of vice grips.

That is a good point. I though for the most part people still used the interior socket lug nuts and locking lug nuts simply due to the problem with getting then on without messing up the wheel. Atleast not anywhere I drive is people jacking your wheels still a problem. I didn;t even realize that still happened lol.gif
