Default How do you break in your new tires?

About to buy some new tires. Wondering if they need a break in period or if tires are fine the minute they get mounted and can be ran hard.

I would go for a couple of drives to heat them up and cool them back off before tracking a street tire personally, but I don't even really think that's truly necessary. If you're just driving them on the street have at it, no prep necessary.

Race tires can be different and for best results many should be heat cycled.

Might want to get the stickers off first.
