How do I bleed brakes???

Can someone please explain how to bleed brakes? I've never done it. I'm installing mine tomorrow with my exhaust I hope.

First, you will need two people. Start at the line furthest from the master cylinder. There will be a bleeder near the end of line. You may want to put a small piece of hose on the end of the bleeder nipple. Run this hose into a clear bottle (read corona) with fluid in the bottom. I haven't done it on the tib, but you should be able to use a small box end wrench. As you open it up, have your helper apply firm pressure to the breaks. Don't depress the brakes completely. You will begin to get fluid to pump out. Close up the line and have him pump it some. Then open and release any air that is in the lines. Keep doing this until it all the air seems to be out of the lines. This will be when no more bubbles are visible. This is very simplified, but I just go through the motions. You will do this on all the lines. If I get around do doing mine anytime soon, I will do a DIY, but I can't guarantee anything.

Yep, that was the second sentence in my post. You should always start at the furthest line from the master cylinder, but on some fwd cars, it is reccomended to go in a diagonal pattern. Check the shop manual, if anyone has one, for the tibs.

GUYS, according to webtech, the pattern for 98-00's is the opposite of the one in tibbys link. just FYI.
