You should've saved your aftermarket rims (I'm asuming you had aftermarket rims) from the 97' and put them on the 00'.

Yeah doode, they are the same car, same suspension and all. Only difference you just told us is the rims.

The rims shouldn't change the ride height though :?

That's true, That's if he has the correct tire size to match up to OEM.

- If it seems loose, check the ball joints, springs and struts make sure you're not leaking in a strut. Make sure everything is tight.
- Is it making any knocking or strange noises?
- What about tire pressure? Is it set correctly?

The RD2 is slightly heavier, but you shouldn't be able to feel it.
As well, now that I think about your ride height,... Your 97Tib did have like 181K on it, springs could of been sagged.

well.. how old are your tyres? I know on my 99, when the stock tyres finally started to get towards the ends of their useful lives, the handling SUCKED. 70mph and the car would not track straight and turning brought out wicked looseness in the rear. Soon as I bought new tyres (upgraded too!) the car became STUCK to the pavement.. right now, I need new tyres again, and the car is feeling really loose

yeah my tires are old, and i put my rims with my car so i could get rid of them. I like the 17" but they were heavy, and this car is about speed, so heavy dont cut it. I been driving it so it is getting better, i just wasnt use to it i guess.

Anyway, all is good, and i love my car.

well.. another question then.. how long has the car been sitting? Cars do not like to sit, it tends to ruin things.

It also depends on how significant the differences are. Not all cars are alike. My friend (01Tibby341) and I have the same car, same year, same features, identical, and they are very different for 2 cars that are the same year make and model. My front end sits higher than his, and his rear sits higher than mine. (Both suspensions completely stock) and that's just suspension, there are alot of other differences too. So depending on how big the difference is, it might just be the car
