the rotors drilled after casting seem to have les problems then they used to. my guess is that before, they would occasionally hit a vein in the rotors and that would weaken it. ive had my post-casting drilled and slotted rotors for close to two years now, with no problems whatsoever. i would get these though...

hmm for 7 extra bucks i might do it and get tib washed right away and do a photoshoot with the black.. paint my calipers, and have it look good for a while.. i just emailed em to see if they could include pads in the auction so i could buy it all at once..

I like slotted only too.
I have black zinc rotors, the black wears off the braking surface quickly, so take those photos shortly after install.
The black zinc in the slots and rotor hub is still there and doing a good job of stopping surface rust so far.

that first link you posted is for irotors ive had them for almost 2 years now and i have some cracks where the drilled holes are so be safe
if you want the bling factor get slotted and dimpled they look very nice lol i hope r1concepts finally gets mine for me already ugh

Just installed black zinc rotors....
All these who said it wears quick are wrong.
It wears immediately. try them, and....... they are silver!!!
BUT, there are pluses to that coat, cause all the surfaces that are not being touched by the pads stay coated, nd continue protecting the rotor.
NO MORE RUSTED UGLY HYUNDAI EDGES!!!!!
Whay are you not going with FlyRyde or RotorPros?
Both sell for the same price, and you don't have to guess on their quality.
