so i sand it off... with a light grit sandpaper... but wont that screw up the CNC on the lip... its got like really tiny grooves... i dont wanna screw that all up because then i would have to do the sanding to each wheel... give me some ideas... i would really like to just do this myself.

bump...

so i used some stripper to get the clear coat off and i sanded down the crap underneath... but there is absolutely NO way that this is going to come out looking anything like the other rims... I was thinking about trying chrome paint but i really doubt that will look good at all.... haha this is nutz.

Dude. Take the rims into a shop, get them sand blasted then powdercoated. Let them know you want a polished lip.

for crome paint you need very smooth surface, othervise it would look like crap.

do what Redz said, it's the best IMO, sand blast and then powder coat in any color you want.

well i painted the rim... yea didnt work... but i really like the color. I am still sending the wheel off to PA to get fixed. They actually re-do the entire wheel to look as it did before it got messed up so i am gonna stick with that. I will update when stuff happens
