I could be wrong but the 2004 is the first year that the sonata comes with 11 inch rotors... from what i was told, only the sonata with abs comes with the 11 inch rotors... the rest of them have elantra sized rotors... lol

 

Sounds like a great mod. But, I was looking on the Hyundai webtech and its says the 04 sonatas rotors are 10.12 inches (257mm). I'm wondering if the abs model is different and it just doesn't specify it. You would think it would be on there.

well, i didnt actaully measure it, and i could be wrong about the exact size.. but one thing is for sure, they are the same size as the 2003 gt v6 tiburon disks, and as you can see from this picture, they are 1 inch bigger than stock.

i set the stock disk on top of the sonata disk... you can see how much difference there is....

 

Sounds great, I'm in!!! Just need a little cash. BTW, the 04 tib gt rotors are 11", so thats good.

 

Did any one of the Tib owners upgraded to these bigger rotors/calippers up to today?

What are these "crush washers for the calipers"

What about the two piston xg calipers?

Will them fit stock 15" alloy wheels for sure?
