Default GK springs on an RD?

im just wondering if the GK tib springs would fit on an RD tib?? and why are some aftermarket RD tib springs more expensive then a newer tib (03-07)

I don't know about the compatibility question, but consider supply and demand: They probably sell fewer springs for RDs. This means fewer are made. Economy of scale kicks in and it costs more per spring to wind a few than a bunch.

I've done it myself before. The front springs fit, rears don't. The spring ratio is different and dangerous. True story: The first time I almost went under a freightliner. The second time I landed in a neighbors driveway. The weight distribution is way off. Just don't do it.

right now i have GK PROGRESS springs in my RD and they ride super nice no problems whatsoever, and i abuse the crap out of my car
