if you look at this wheel.. the second set of holes are larger. what if i had mine machined just a little to make it fit... would it look bad being able to see those bolts?

i really dont want to spend $600 for a brake kit and if i sell my wheels then i am going to lose money. getting a first gen might have been a bad idea

see something like those rims would probably work. but then youd see the bolts. most likely theyd be rusted but you can paint the center of the rotor.

No, those wheels would not work. The 4 captive bolts sit inside the wheel mount bolts. You'd have to enlarge those holes to the inside of the wheel. The wheel would be very weak around the hub mount hole. Our wheels are hubcentric, so all the weight goes on that center hole...you can't cut anywhere near it.

OK, and they also forgot to mention to you, that it's not really that THEY WORK as they claim, most likely they are just sending you what are called "spacers" what they do is that they fill in about 1/4 space so your rims will sit a little more out and flushing the rotors to the wheels, but this causes for you to only use up about 1/2 if not less of your 4 studs... not good if you do lots of crazy driving, you risk breaking some of the studs... since your lugnuts will only hold a small part of it...

BECAREFUL, I used spacers for about 1 year with no problems, but then again, I really wasn't taking turns that bad either with a 104 whp tib... hehehe

nope I did a rotor swap... it's simple and it's the best way to go... contact local junkyards and call around for 1999+ rotors, shouldn't cost you more than about 75 bux each... and change the bearings

you don't need to change the back ones, only the front... also keep in mind that if you put spacers in the front you'll need them in the back too...
