Hey im kinda new to this whole suspension thing. I got my fronts lowered from a friend of mine and we couldn't do the rears because we didnt have time and he wont be able to do it till the next week or so. I was just wondering if this poses a problem having only the front lowered and not the rear? its pretty low in the front and REALLY stiff. The rear is stock. Any insight would be appreciated.

 

Its probably not the best thing to do... as long as you don't drive it too much it shouldn't cause a problem.

ha.. thats the same thing that happened to me a month or two ago... im pretty sure nothings gonna happen cause nothing happened to me

Don't forget about the alignment too. Try not to drive around too much, your tires will wear unevenly and all that nasty stuff.

YOu'll be fine for a couple weeks, just make sure you get it done.

get the rears done as soon as possible, then get a full alignment done after...

 

Don't be scared by anyone, it's not that big of a deal. I had my car lowered and didn't get an alightment for 2-3 weeks and was perfectly fine. You actually should drive your car once it's lowered for a little while to get everything settled and then allign it.

 

^^ Yep. The springs take a little while to settle, the front will probably be 0.2-0.4 inches lower than what it is now. A lot of people (Tiburon and other owners included) say Eibachs settle a lot lower than what they advertise.

 

yeea i know about the whole alignment thing and all.. but besides that and the tire wear, is there any serious damage that can happen?
