^^ they are pretty nice, but it comes to $859.76 for the ones I have now before shipping. The wheelmax prices aren't including tires man. Their cheapest tires are $238. The cheapest set of tires and wheels together are $651.78 and that's not even shipped man! I'm getting this for $599 to my door.
That's $60 total, + time and effort on my part involved, which gets me no closer to having a new set of rims.
Redz: Maybe that's a good option.. Usually takes a while though. If i can find somewhere local that can do it in under 2 days I'll get on that, But even still, it wouldn't be worth it if they try to charge more then $25/rim. Worth looking into though. What didn't you like about the spark plug cover other then the scratches when i did the brushed aluminum look to the tip of the H and DOHC?

Because you have a bent rim you were in a rush?
Go buy a 30$ steelie, put your tire on that. Problem solved. Than shop around for wheels so that you aren't rushed.

What happened to the spare? Or could've pulled a rim from a junkyard or something... I just think it was a bad decision cause you were rushed.
I really don't like them at all to be honest, but whatever floats your boat.

I don't think anyone is denying that $579 for wheels/tires that are shipped for free and ready to mount is not a good deal..they're simply just saying that the tires suck and the wheels are ugly lmao.gif
lol..
i don't think they're that bad, let's see some pics when you get them on your car.

dood, i dont understand why everyone keeps saying that this was basically a dumb thing to do.. lol..
you can sell em on ebay, when you can get better lookin rims anyway, people eat up stuff on ebay..
they will look nicer than stock.. come with tires, and shipped free.. lets say the tires last 20k miles.. and the rims would look good painted.. you wouldnt be able to even tell that they were painted.. thats a VERY good deal..
for less than 600$ hes gonna have some gunmetal, OK looking 17" rims. with enough care painting them, it looks PERFECT.. and its not ghetto at all, when you cant tell. powdercoating is a waste of money, unless you have money to throw around. and, when he wants to get new rims, he could sell these, with whatever is left of the tires, on ebay for like 350$+ shipping.. someone will buy them, im sure of it..
if you like the style, good decision, if you dont like it that much, then it wasnt so good of a decision, and should got a new rim..
but these are definately some good temporary rims, with brand new tires, and everything..
to replace the two bad tires on your 15s, it would cost AT LEAST 150$ mounted, balanced, out the door.
so out of the 150$ you would have needed to spend anyway, if you painted them to your color, its basically like saying you spent 450$ for nicer looking rims, 17"s and better handling.

^^Thanks. I'm glad someone sees it like I do. I do like the looks of the rim, but the one consideration I had was that I'll have to be extra careful on curbs. The rims are convex rather then concave like most. These wheels will wack curbs and get curb rash more easily then most. I'll just have to be more careful. In the 45K i put on my car, i've wacked 1 curb last year.
even on ebay man there are ADR rims, huge selection, for a little less and come with tires. And if you wanna upgrade then you can just throw em on ebay and buy better ones. The ones your looking at arent that bad but there are better ones out there for low...er prices. But hey if you do get em you gotta show us some pics man.
