Feeler For Rear Strut Bars
OK, I have seen there may be some interest to get some of these done. What I would like to know is what style you guys want and what you would like it made from. I would probably try to do a 3-bolt setup and make sure you can close the back seats and still keep the slides in the trunk. I was thinking stainless or aluminum, possibly chromoly?
Price depending on what its made from and the material cost would hopefully be about 70. Thats a rough number as I havent looked into the material costs yet. For myself I will be doing a cross brace where it will bolt to the strut mounts and then going straight across to the other one, then also cross to the back of the trunk and bolt somewhere. These are a possibility also but would be more for obvious reasons.
Heres some examples:

1. I'm in.
2. Style C, but not that color obviously. COL96fx said he'd give the plans up for them.
3. I'd recommend across, like you said, then 2 bars going back to the child restraint bolts in the back of the car. They are the ones that hold the little loops to hook your car seat up to. Should be plenty strong.
4. I want quick disconnects like in the photo.

It would be great if you can do them out at an angle to those. Have them to where you can take them out easily for cargo.
Looks good. I agree with the quick disconnects. I would like to see what you come up with. As everyone else stated, it would be nice for if you need to put your seats down for anything.
