I am looking to get some wheels. The 2 I am looking at look pretty much the same. Here they are:

Exel TZ-7 White ($750 w/ tires)

Katana VR-7 White ($799 w/ tires)

By the way, my car is blue (cobalt) and is a 2001.
Thanks for your input.[/img]

I like the Katana's
I have Katana Racing K-6 wheels and I love them. Great quality. I hit a curb (up and over!) pretty hard, about 30MPH and it didn't bend any of the 4. 215/40/17 tires.
They're a decent wheel, but you could probably get Motegi MR7's for close to the same price I would think. What size wheels are those prices for? 17" ?

Blue and White go very well together. As for Excel, I haven't heard much about them.

Wheelmax, on the other hand, is a nightmare.

Do a search on HP or HA.com about them and read the stories.

I read the horror story the other day. I had that type of thing happen to me with a $1000 computer (got money back). I am going to go to a tire place near my house and see if they can match the price and order the wheels for me. If not, I might be stuck getting them from Wheelmax.

And yes the wheels are 17" with 205 tires on them i think.

I got my Exel TZ-7s through wheelmax.. guess what? I had no problem at all with them.. i called, the guy was nice and very helpful, then a week later i had 4 wheels from UPS arrive.

The Exels have held up, i've hit some pretty hard potholes on accident and haven't bent them. Only bad thing is a little rust around the lugnuts, so i dont know if the Katanas would hold up better or if all painted wheels have this problem

my wheelmax story is a lot more simple... I wound up arguing with them about the bolt pattern... they were insistant it was 4x100 instead of 4x114.3. I am glad I hung up on them. I got my enkei's through Discount Tire direct.. got to me in about three days with NO hassle
