LOL whoa it's been 2 months and I just realized I never answered your question. Yeah, the guy who works at AudioJam said that they tend to wear out around 15K miles. I think he's on crack.

Most car manufacturers recommend to inpsect OEM springs at 60,000 miles, and I want to emphasise (is that spelled correctly? tongue.gif ) inspect, it's not change at that mileage. They are supossed to last AT LEAST 60k miles. Depending on the abuse of the car they could need replacement, but if the car has been normally driven (and in normally I include sport-spirited driving) and has not been overloaded (overloaded = +4 adults + extra trunk weight) many times for many miles, OEM springs can overlast 120k miles.
That's for OEM springs, Eibachs, H&R's and other prestiged brands, I am sure can last at least twice as Hyundai OEM, so don't worry about springs wearing out, chances are the entire rest of the car wears out before the springs even begin to.
