yeah... search is very hard to use. I'm sorry. Try searching the DIY area for captive to non captive swap. That's what you want.
Try this, it should help. http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=14199
I hate how it cancels your search if you have a word in quotations which is less then 3 letters long IE "drums to disc brakes" You've got to search for "disc brakes" or drums.
That's as good as I can find.

Search works fine, I don't know why you guys have so many problems.
Hit search, go to the full search, then MORE SEARCH OPTIONS.
Plus, if you are searcing for "drums to discs swap", of course you'll not find anything, WTF would call it that?
Brake Swap.
Drum Conversion
Disk Conversion
DIY section?

Maybe if you stopped talking (writing) like an a-hole, you'd understand. I tried the search function, apparently it wont allow the use of small words even though they'd appear in my search parameters. Funny how I've never run into those problems at the seven other forums I use.
As for why I would type "drums to discs swap"? Ummmm, most likely because I was trying to find information on swapping from drums to discs. 'Ever think of THAT?
WTF indeed!
You will need the whole knuckle assembly, calipers, mounting brackets, and parking brake lines. I got them all for 200 shipped from an old member here. It's not hard to do, it took me about 5 hours since all the mounts were rusty as heck. A torch and impact hammer make the job alot easier.

1. Don't quote the post above yours. Warned.
2. I read everything you wrote, and replied to it. The search works fine for me, and thousands of other members. We have it set not to accept searches with less than 3 letters, of which the word "BRAKE" and "SWAP" both have more than 3. If you read our forums more, you'd have seen there are threads about the search on teh site and how it works. I mentioned that you are a moron for putting "drums to disks swap" because maybe 2% of the members here would list it as that. It would be "drum conversion", or "brake swap", as I mentioned above.
Ever think of that?
You don't like the way these forums are run, fine, you are welcome to NOT post here. Maybe if you read the rules, participated in the site a bit, you'd know how things go here, instead of wanting everything spoon fed to you like an "a-hole". Take a vacation.
Yamaha, if you PM Tiburonmoo, he'll put those images in our RDTiburon photobucket so they don't ever get lost. It's his job. LOL
