Do they manufacture them or do they have some other company make them, kind of like how some Euro car makers have BBS do their wheels.

 

more than likely outsourced, it'd be interesting to know from where though some of them have been hit/miss. the old FX wheels are pretty dang strong and light considering they were factory wheels

 

Speaking of the RD FX wheels.. I have a set and had one weighed today because I need to ship it and it came out to be 17.15 lbs.. In case anyone was wondering.

The RD FX wheel does have 'made in korea' stamped on it. But yeah it's most likely outsourced.







Protip: factory wheels tend to be made to a higher standard than two thirds of aftermarket wheels you find. Plus you can find them for cheap.
