Im starting to like more and more rim & tire packages that have smaller rims (15 or 16" rims) and meatier tires, meaning the sidewall has some guts to it. Kind of like this

Anyone else like this style too or do most of you prefer the really small sidewalls (40, 35, 30 series)?

I like both, but having meaty tires is so much nicer to have when your city is plagued with pot holes big enough to swallow your car.

Depends on the application. For the daily road car I like big tyres combined with small rims. They're comfortable. There's more sidewall to flex, and that means the ride is nice and cushy. Doesn't handle too good, but how quick can you go on the road before you need to brake? For circuit application it really depends; sometimes I want more sidewall because you need to ride the rumble strips hard. Other times like Philip Island, you can run a lower profile because the cornering speeds are fast and a stiffer sidewall helps things.
