Vehicle: 2010 Genesis 2.0
Do I have to have to my TPMS rebuilt?
Im swapping my stock 19" tires over to new 19x8/19x9 wheels. I was wondering if the TPMS can just be swapped to the new wheels without having to have them rebuilt?

Don't waste the money on upsale tpms rebuild unless your sensors are having problems or broken. I'm on my third set of tires at 84k miles on my other vehicle, Never replaced tpms or rebuilt them.

I did it on my GC. You'll be fine, unless you have an incompetent tire tech who has no idea what he's doing, and destroys them when swapping over.
