Default Cross drilled rotors?

Has anyone bought the cross drilled rotors from Shark Racing yet? My stockers are warped to beat hell and I'm thinking of upgrading. I want to know how they perform and hold up to punishment. Ha Ha Ha.
Thanks in advance everyone!

And how difficult are they to install?

I was told over at fxtreme that Random said something once about the difficulty of installing new rotors, or did a step by step or something.

I have the 2nd gen, so how difficult would it be and are the brakepads and rotors the same for front/back?

I heard that the front were ventilated, and the rear weren't. But does that still mean I can't put the drilled and slotted on the rear also?

I believe Chris H over at FxTreme bought the SR units and installed them himself. He has pics of both the stock and the SR ones. Ask either him, Random, or Yam and they could better help out with your questions.

Cross drilled rotors don't heat as fast as the stock ones. So you don't have to worry about them warping as much like the stockers. The SR big brake system is basically just that...bigger brakes, so it helps you slow down alot quicker. Definitly a good thing to have! wink.gif

From what it sounded like, Chris H had some trouble with his big brake kit though, but I know he had captive rotors also. So on the 2nd gens with the non-captive how difficult would the big brake kit be to install?

That's a front wheel only kit too isn't it?
