A couple of questions...
1. How much of a difference would a 1.2" drop make (looks and ride--I have 17's....)?
2. If I get a lowering kit, i need to get strut bars, right?
3. What's the difference between a strut and a sway bar?

you would really be surprised the difference an inch will make on a vehicle... it totally changes the vehicle, makes it look real nice and will reduce a little of the gap between your tires and fenderwells... next the lowering kit strut question... yea they will help out a whole lot. stiffens up the ride quite a bit and helps handling. as for the third question... i really dont know... but im sure someone on here will! good luck

3. Presumably you mean the difference between strut bars and anti-sway bars. In brief, strut bars connect either the top of the bottom of the struts together. Upper bars reduce chassis flex, lower bars reduce suspension flex. A side note: Lower bars are inadvisable on street vehicles. Anti-sway bars are a type of spring that connect the suspension to the body. They reduce body roll, how I will leave for another time.

1. Looks good. If you go with MAX 215/40/17's you'll be fine. More than that, YOU WILL RUB
And like blue said, it will improve your handling,.. because of the lower center of gravity. Ride and Handline will also depend on what kind of springs you get, I'd suggest you get struts at the same time. Your OEM struts are not meant to travel / sit so compressed all the time, and IT WILL fail in about 6-12 months after you install your springs, and at that point, your ride will feel like SHIET
