my wheels aren't on there... but I weighed them myself.
They were 27 pounds with 215/40/17 tires mounted and 52psi
about how much would the rim weigh then?

You might be able to go to the tire manufactorer's site and find the weights for the tire.. then just subtract that from the overall weight
